Are you an organised, proactive problem-solver with strong systems and reporting skills? Are you looking to build a career in a fast-paced, forward thinking procurement team? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

Butler Ross are currently recruiting on behalf of a large organisation for a Procurement Operations Analyst to join their dynamic and sizeable Procurement function. You'll play a key role in audits, reporting and systems, keeping things running smoothly and acting as the first point of contact for procurement related queries.

This is an ideal development role and could suit someone coming from a business analyst, procurement analyst or operations analyst background, who is proficient working with systems, solving problems and providing great service. Prior procurement experience is not essential, but an interest in developing a career in procurement is key.

What you'll be doing:

Acting as the first point of contact for procurement queries across the business
Supporting users with procurement systems and guiding them through processes
Managing supplier onboarding and carrying out assurance checks
Maintaining procurement guidance documents and buying channel information
Running scheduled and ad hoc reports to support decision making
Administering procurement systems like SAP Ariba and Coupa (full training provided)
Monitoring compliance and suggesting opportunities for continuous improvement
Supporting audits and liaising with internal stakeholders and support functionsWhat we're looking for:

Strong customer service and communication skills
Confident using systems and working with data (especially Excel)
Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities
Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn and develop
Proactive and solutions-oriented - someone who spots issues and takes action
Some knowledge of procurement or interest in developing in this area would be a bonusWhat's in it for you?
