Manage the profitable development of sales with a strong focus on new business development, and management of existing customers, through building broad and deep relationships. You will be the main point of contact for key customers, representing the Company at the highest possible standards

The role:
* Profitably grow sales across new and developing Customers and Channels
* Develop a network of contacts to generate new leads and seek new business opportunities
* Build cross-functional relationships internally and within customers to ensure good service, quality and profitable sales growth.
* Prospect and win new business within agreed scope of targets and profitability.
* Hold regular review meetings with Customers for performance against SLA.
* Contract and service level agreement negotiation.
* General administration to ensure Company records are up to date and accurate.
* Managing internal relationships with Customer Services, Operations, Finance, Purchasing and Transport.
* Manage the collection of market information from customers to ensure we remain competitive on both product range and price and provide feedback to the NPD/Technical Teams.
* Support the development of the Carr’s brand through attendance at exhibitions, retail shows and similar corporate events.
* Support the Technical team in developing new products and processes in response to customer requests/requirement.
* Awareness of competitor & comparative products.
* Create customer files and prepare quotes and contract agreements on the company database.
About you:
* Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, in particular powerpoint and excel.
* Experience of working in a busy Sales/Technical Account environment within the food sector.
* Excellent presentation, relationship building and networking skills.
* Must be self‑motivated, professional and well‑organised.
* An exceptional communicator and negotiator at all levels – oral and written.
* Full UK driving licence.
* A strong work ethic and commercial focus.
* Flexible with working hours as the role involves regular travel.
