We are looking for a
Sales Account Manager
to join a well-established, trend-led supplier. This role will focus on managing existing accounts while also developing new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will already have strong connections with Buyers across mid- to value-focused online retailers, high street retailers, or supermarkets. You will work as part of a collaborative team of designers and garment technologists, reporting directly to the Director.
Main Responsibilities will include:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing accounts
Drive sales growth through upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new clients via your network
Collaborate closely with design teams on product development tailored to customer needs
Negotiate pricing and delivery timelines with the design and production teams
Demonstrate strong commercial awareness of margins while working with merchandisers and buyers
Manage high-volume orders effectively and in a timely manner
Person Specification:
Proven track record of success in a similar role within a supplier environment
Established network of Buyer relationships across relevant retail sectors
Excellent communication skills for liaising with both clients and factories
Strong organisational skills and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of knitwear products is advantageous
