Vanrath is working with a well-established transport and logistics organisation to recruit a Transport Administrator to join their busy compliance and operations function. This is a key support role within a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail are essential.About the RoleThis position plays a vital part in ensuring fleet and driver compliance standards are consistently met. You'll be supporting the wider operations team by maintaining accurate records, coordinating documentation, and helping ensure vehicles remain road-legal and fully operational.Day-to-day responsibilities will be varied and will include working closely with internal teams, external service providers, and workshop/maintenance contacts to keep processes moving efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update fleet records, including servicing, inspections, and regulatory documentationEnsure all asset and compliance files are accurately stored and audit-readyProcess and update driver information, including licence checks and onboarding of new driversMonitor vehicle defect reports and inspection sheets, escalating issues where requiredLiaise with third-party maintenance providers to chase outstanding paperwork, invoices, and job updatesSupport the tracking of vehicle repairs and workshop activityAssist with incident reporting, insurance claims, and damage documentationProvide general administrative support to the compliance function and wider transport teamEnsure all systems and records are kept up to date and accurate at all timesWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in an administrative role (transport highly ideal, or at least a great interest!)Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft OfficeHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to manage workload independently while working within a teamStrong communication and organisational skillsWhat's On OfferFull training provided - no prior transport compliance experience requiredClear development pathway, including support toward Transport Manager CPCFriendly and supportive working environmentPension scheme (salary sacrifice option available)Employee benefits packageGenuine opportunity to build a long-term career within transport complianceSkills:Transport Logistics CPC administration Compliance programmer transportBenefits:Additional BenefitsWHJS1_NI
