We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Software Developer to join a Front Office trading team in Central London. You will work directly with traders, quants, and risk teams to design and build low-latency, high-performance trading systems that support real-time decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications for Front Office trading
* Build low-latency systems for pricing, execution, and market data processing
* Work closely with traders and quants to translate requirements into technical solutions
* Optimize system performance, ensuring speed, scalability, and reliability
* Integrate with market data feeds, exchanges, and internal trading platforms
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a time-critical environment
* Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong experience in modern C++ (C++14/17/20)
* Proven background in low-latency / high-performance systems
* Experience in Front Office trading environments (bank, hedge fund, or trading firm)
* Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multithreading
* Experience with Linux/Unix systems
* Knowledge of market data, FIX protocol, or electronic trading systems
* Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with derivatives, FX, equities, or commodities trading
* Familiarity with Python for scripting or analytics
* Knowledge of distributed systems or real-time data processing
* Exposure to cloud technologies
