DUTIES Your duties as the Industrial Sewing Machinist include: Manufacturing Operations: Carry out sewing, cutting, binding, preparation and welding of PVC products Production Work: Support daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines Machine Operation: Use industrial sewing machines and associated equipment safely and efficiently Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure high standards and accuracy Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and fault finding on sewing machines Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety procedures at all times Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across production, design and logistics teams Training and Development: Participate in training to develop skills across multiple production processes Logistics Support: Assist with packing, shipping, receiving and final inspections as required Documentation and Systems: Follow company procedures and maintain accurate records where required CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL: Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment Experience with industrial sewing machines, cutting, binding or welding equipment Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Positive, reliable and proactive approach to work Good communication skills with a professional and friendly manner Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines DESIRABLE: A background in textile or PVC manufacturing Interest in developing skills within a B2C manufacturing environment Basic machine maintenance or fault-finding experience HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
