About Us
ASONE Perform CIC, the Lead Organisation for Cornwall's Music Hub (ASONE Hub), is responsible for delivering the National Plan for Music Education (NPME) in Cornwall, as set out by the Department for Education (DfE).
Our mission is to provide aspirational, inclusive, and innovative music education for all children and young people in Cornwall, delivered through a dynamic network of partners working collaboratively to ensure broad access and lasting impact. Our vision is a Cornwall where every child and young person can access, enjoy, and progress through high-quality, inspiring music-making opportunities that reflect their lives, interests, and potential.
We work with schools, community organisations, educators and cultural partners to ensure all children and young people in Cornwall have access to a diverse and inclusive music education. We are committed to creativity, collaboration and equity, placing young peoples' voices at the heart of our work.
Our Local Plan for Music Education (LPME) reflects both national priorities and Cornwall's unique geography and needs, promoting equity, progression and creativity for all learners.
ASONE Perform CIC is confirmed as the lead organisation in Cornwall to deliver the NPME, with funding from the DfE, via Arts Council England (ACE), up to September 2027.
