We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in managing financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage 50 and Sage Payroll.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including ledgers, journals, and invoices
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare financial reports for review by management
- Payroll processing and tax filings
* VAT submissions
* Experience within construction industry is essential (CIS and Reverse Charge VAT)
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software Sage
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
* Construction Industry scheme experience essential
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
