About Our Client
This organisation is a leading investor in significant projects of public interest and offers managed services in the infrastructure market. This role offer interface with a range of different stakeholders, including Directors, The Board, Education Heads, Managed Service Providers, Facilities Contractors, Local Authority leaders and many more.
Job Description
This role as General Manager will see you run 4 -5 PFI projects, in the Education sector. You will need signifiant PFI knowledge gained in any sector, and excellent communication skills as a key part of this role is liaising and communicating at senior level for a range of organsiations.
You will be responsible for provision fo the contract, rporting on progress to the board, and undertaking all contract compliance and governance for the porject. FM, property and estates experience is welcome, but PFI experience is key.
You will be responsible for contract performance including budgets and staffing, using your finanancial and commercial accumen to identify opportunities, mitigate risk and report returns.
You will develop excellent collaborative relationships with all parties, and ensure robust compliance and contruactual frameworks are delivered upon.
Experience of managing multi-functional teams, and inspiring leaders in your teams, as well as managing upwards with a collaborative approach.
The Successful Applicant
* Experience of acting at a Senior Manager Level.
* Experience of interfacing at Directors Level.
* Proven experience of working in or with Facilities Management.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Able to drive and has own car.
* Certification with IWFM, CIBSE, RICS, ILM, APM, PRINCE or similar awarding body would be an asset to an application.
