About us
We’re a full-service HR consultancy that partners with clients to help their people and businesses thrive. Sometimes we act as their in‑house HR team, sometimes as an extension of their existing people team — but always as a trusted partner that genuinely cares.
We believe people are the foundation of every business’s success. Our job is to help clients create workplaces where everyone can do their best work.
What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Employee Relations Specialist, you’ll deliver a brilliant ER service to our clients — with a particular focus on policies, employment contracts, and complex employee relations and business change work.
You’ll be our subject matter expert in policy and contracts, designing, drafting, and reviewing documentation that helps clients stay compliant, fair, and confident in managing their people.
* Drafting, reviewing, and updating policies, handbooks, and contracts of employment.
* Leading complex, high‑risk ER cases — from disciplinaries and grievances to whistleblowing and harassment.
* Advising on restructures, redundancies, acquisitions, and consultation processes.
* Helping clients balance compliance with commercial sense when making people decisions.
* Supporting colleagues by reviewing and quality‑checking policies and documentation to maintain our high standards.
* Building trusted relationships with clients by delivering timely, practical, and insightful advice.
* Sharing your expertise through training, toolkits, and coaching to build capability across our team.
About you
You’re an experienced Employee Relations professional who knows your stuff when it comes to employment law, policy development, and complex casework. You bring the perfect mix of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and empathy.

* Skilled in drafting, reviewing, and implementing policies, handbooks, and contracts.
* Confident supporting organisational change projects such as restructures and redundancies.
* Able to coach and support others on ER best practice and policy interpretation.
* A clear and engaging communicator, both written and verbal.
* Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
* Commercially minded and able to balance compliance with practical advice.
* Tech‑savvy and comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital systems.
* Happy to travel occasionally and holds a full UK driving licence.
CIPD Level 7 (or an equivalent employment law qualification) is a bonus, as is experience in consultancy or professional services — but what matters most is your expertise, your judgement and the care you bring to your work.
