Our client, a leading provider in the Surveying sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Survey Technician/Assistant Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis at Hinkley Point C.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in conducting land surveys using total station equipment
* Collecting and analysing data to produce accurate maps and reports
* Collaborating with the senior survey team to support project delivery
* Maintaining and calibrating surveying equipment
* Ensuring all surveying tasks are completed to the highest standards of accuracy
* Conducting site inspections and adhering to safety protocols
* Supporting the preparation of survey documents and drawings
* Working flexible shifts, including potential overtime, to meet project demands
Job Requirements:
* Experience in surveying, with a minimum of 6 months
* Proficiency in using total station equipment
* Strong work ethic and a long-term commitment to the role
* Good analytical and mathematical skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting
* Excellent communication skills
* Relevant qualifications in surveying or a related field
