The Role – Assistant Facility Manager
Are you an experienced Care Manager ready to take the next step in your career or already working as an Assistant Facility Manager looking for a new opportunity? At our Guildford facility, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. You’ll work closely with our Facility Manager to lead clinical operations, engage and inspire your team, and drive continuous improvement—all while fostering a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for residents and staff.
What You’ll Do
* Lead Daily Clinical Operations: Ensure compliance with Aged Care Strengthened Standards, review clinical incidents, resolve complaints effectively, and monitor key clinical indicators.
* Inspire and Lead Your Team: Support, guide, and manage a dedicated team of nurses and clinical staff through education, training, mentorship, and performance management.
* Personalised Care Planning: Work collaboratively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored care plans.
* Drive Quality and Safety: Conduct audits, monitor clinical care delivery, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
* Proactive Problem Solving: Quickly identify and address gaps in care to ensure the best outcomes for residents and the facility.
* Stay Ahead of Compliance: Keep up to date with industry regulations and ensure all practices meet or exceed current standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Registered Nurse (AHPRA): Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Care Manager, ready to step into an Assistant Facility Manager role, or already in an Assistant Facility Manager position.
* Leadership Experience: Proven ability to inspire and manage clinical teams.
* Aged Care Expertise: Deep understanding of Aged Care Strengthened Standards and regulatory requirements.
* Critical Thinking: Calm, proactive problem‑solving skills.
* Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
* Positive Energy: A good sense of humour and an engaging attitude to help create a fun and safe workplace.
