JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN TUTOR

Job Duties:
* Provide one-on-one tutoring and support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
* Implement effective teaching strategies to help students achieve academic goals
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of SEN requirements and best practises
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education
* Experience working in a mainstream or SEN school setting
Working Conditions:
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will primarily work with students in educational settings such as schools or learning centres in the Oxford area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
