An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Coordinator - technical here at Hi Spec Motorsport Limited. We are among the market leaders in the production of custom brake kits and all the parts for the braking system for all manner of cars, (Road Cars, Classic Cars, Race Cars and Kit Cars) from one off specials to low volume production.
We are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record in Customer/Client Service and Relations Management and Administration who can shape the role to be their own. This is a small, specialised industry with not many companies like us, so full technical support and training will be provided as part of the induction programme but it is expected that the successful candidate will be a fast learner to pick up the technical detail with a view to eventually providing an end to end client experience including the technical know-how about all aspects of our products. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in automotive engineering, as this would be beneficial. Good rates of pay available and we are willing to be flexible and negotiable for the right candidate.
Please note that this is not a cold calling position, you would be advising and selling to regular retail and trade customers. We seek a candidate who can demonstrate accuracy and efficiency with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Managing overall customer satisfaction and providing high quality client service
* Answering in-bound calls and managing emails for customer new orders and enquiries
* Maintaining and updating our in-house system with new job details with accuracy
* Keeping track of customer orders and deadlines
* Liaising with the Admin team to ensure customer order accuracy
* Liaising with the Finance team to resolve billing issues
* Onboarding new customers and develop working relationships with current customers
* Generating sales or service reports for senior management
* Offering advice to customers on products and escalating more complex queries to the technical and design departments whilst expanding your knowledge to deal with similar issues in the future
* Drafting, formatting and printing relevant documents
Skills and qualifications:
* Have excellent customer service skills and possess an appropriate telephone manner
* Be patient, empathetic and possess and understand the value of good communication skills
* Good problem-solving and possessing a can do attitude. Be able to provide technical expertise
* Be confident at troubleshooting and investigating with the technical and design department if they don’t have enough information to answer client questions or resolve complaints
* The ability to be able to gather customer feedback
* Prior office administration experience preferred
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work without supervision
* Excellent time management skills
* Strong record keeping skills
* Ability to multitask
* High level of integrity
* Keen and willing to learn technical expertise
* An overview of the technical and mechanical aspects of a car’s running gear is deal but not essential.
