Position: DENTAL PRACTICE ADVISOR (1 SESSION PER WEEK) – Permanent, Part‑time (3.5 hours per week), based in 102 Westport, Edinburgh.
Responsibilities
Contribute to and promote the improvement of overall quality of care in NHS General Dental Practice, act in a supporting and advisory capacity (including clinical advice) to all General Dental Practitioners, and advise the Primary Care Contracts Office on all matters relating to General Dental Services in close liaison with other professional staff.
Qualifications
Applicants must be qualified dental practitioners with extensive experience of general dental practice and a good understanding of the regulations covering general dental services.
Pay Details
British Dental Guild Rate 2025/26 (Scotland & UK‑wide)
* £400 per session (3.5 hours)
* Maximum payable per day: 2 sessions (£800)
* Teleconference rate: £115 per hour, capped at £400 per half‑day and £800 per day
