We are recruiting in our Leeds Office for a Logistics Support Advisor.
The role's purpose is to support the logistics function through accurate reporting, trending analysis, process adherence, compliance management, and support for week closures and financial impacts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Consolidate daily site performance data, record, track, and analyze trends
* Manage and report delivery issues via team mailbox and calls
* Record and handle delivery failures and redeliveries
* Manage and process delivery charges and amendments
* Create and distribute daily and weekly reports
* Escalate non-adherence issues and report progress
* Identify and report improvement areas to relevant sites and monitor progress
* Report daily stock availability, shortages, and reasons by site
* Download weekly KPI reports
* Track vehicle live updates, delivery volumes, and timings
* Monitor vehicle fill rates and identify opportunities
* Coordinate with CSC on daily performance and adherence
* Ensure turnaround time compliance at manufacturing and delivery points
* Ensure weekly availability of comprehensive system data
* Record and manage customer complaints
Shift Patterns
* Rotating 5-day shifts over 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays
* Start and finish times vary between 7 AM and 6 PM
* Experience in claims, investigations, transport, or delivery roles preferred
* Background in FMCG logistics operations advantageous
* Proficiency in generating reports and analysis from multiple sources
* Knowledge of the dairy industry is a plus but not essential
* Ability to work towards KPI targets, stay organized, and detail-oriented
* Highly motivated, pragmatic, with high integrity and objectivity
* Tenacious, influential, curious, and eager to improve business processes
* Capable of producing meaningful insights from diverse data sources
