Overview
Join or sign in to find your next job — MMU Operator (HGV 2) at Orica. This role involves driving and operating our Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMUs) on quarries to deliver bulk explosives safely and with environmental responsibility.

What you will do
* Operate/drive MMUs and ensure equipment prestart compliance
* Drive and collect/deliver class 1 products
* Perform MMU calibration and quality control compliance
* Conduct basic fault finding and repairs
* Handle explosives and assist Shotfirers with shot preparation
* Measure holes
* Stemming holes and operate ancillary equipment
* Ensure safe driving and TMP compliance
* Use, handle, and store raw materials and dangerous goods according to SDS requirements
* Minimise environmental damage through waste control
* Report all unusual incidents and accidents immediately
* Participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings
* Maintain personal training against the Orica training matrix for your role
* Perform other ancillary duties, including relief at other locations, as instructed by the supervisor
* Assist clients in achieving targets and maintaining production
* Notify Orica site management of any variations in product specification, appearance, or performance
What you will bring
* Physically fit due to the nature of the role
* Availability to start early, usually around 4am
* Willingness to spend occasional nights away to cover leaves at other sites
* Valid ADR card (preferable, but not mandatory)
* Unquestionable reputation for integrity
