Overview
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and documents, ensuring that all items reach their destination in perfect condition. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries.
Duties
* Safely operate a vehicle to deliver packages and documents to various locations.
* Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
* Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring all deliveries are handled with care.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including sorting and preparing items for dispatch.
* Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management.
Experience
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is highly desirable.
* A valid driving licence is required; experience with driving is an advantage.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is beneficial.
* Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus, along with the ability to perform heavy lifting tasks.
