We are looking for a Technical Plumbing and Drainage Manager to provide high-level expertise in plumbing and drainage and to support field engineers, supervisors, coordinators, and account managers. This role serves as a central technical authority within the business, providing practical guidance, troubleshooting support, technical assurance, and forward-looking job planning to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. This is an office-based technical leadership and support role. It does not involve full direct line management of field operatives.
Responsibilities
* Provide real-time technical advice to engineers in the field
* Support complex diagnostics and problem-solving
* Review and prepare upcoming works to ensure the correct equipment, labour, and methodology is in place
* Conduct post-job technical reviews to ensure quality and accuracy
* Work closely with Supervisors to support training and development planning
* Provide technical reassurance and explanation to clients where required
* Support continuous technical improvement across the business
* Be required to attend or support staff meetings relating to absence, conduct, or capability, where appropriate, to ensure continuity of management cover
Qualifications
* CSCS (preferred)
* Driving Licence (required)
Experience
* Extensive technical experience in the industry: 10 years (preferred)
* Diagnostic and fault-finding capability: 3 years (preferred)
Work Location
Office-based with occasional site visits. In person.
