Business Development Manager – Cross-Border eCommerce Logistics (Remote)
£££ Competitive Salary + Commission | Remote UK | Must Have Cross-Border Logistics Experience
We're working with a rapidly growing logistics provider specialising in cross-border eCommerce solutions. They're looking to hire a Business Development Manager with a strong track record in international logistics, fulfilment, and eCommerce operations.
This is a fully remote, UK-based role ideal for a self-starter with in-depth industry knowledge and a passion for helping online retailers expand globally.
Only applicants with experience in cross-border eCommerce logistics will be considered.
The Role
You'll be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities in the cross-border eCommerce space. This includes self-sourcing leads, managing a healthy pipeline, and presenting tailored logistics solutions to senior decision-makers at eCommerce brands and online retailers.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and win new cross-border logistics clients in the eCommerce sector
* Generate your own leads and qualify prospects based on fit and potential
* Present complex logistics solutions using a consultative sales approach
* Negotiate commercial agreements and support the onboarding process
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
* Accurately manage all pipeline activity using CRM software (Freshsales)
Requirements
* Direct experience in cross-border eCommerce logistics (essential)
* Understanding of international fulfilment, customs, shipping, and last-mile delivery
* Confident engaging with senior stakeholders in eCommerce brands
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working remotely
* Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM tools
Performance Expectations
New Business Revenue £1.5m per annum
Selling Days 4 per week (1 admin day)
Client Meetings 10 per week (min. 50% face-to-face)
Self-Sourced Leads 5 per week
CRM & Reporting Weekly updates and accurate data entry
