Legal.io is working with a leading technology company who is seeking an Infrastructure Counsel help with data center projects in EMEA. This is a 40 hour per week position and is fully remote within the UK/EU.

Project Description
* Support EMEA infrastructure expansion, with a particular focus on planning, land use, development and environmental permitting in relation to hyperscale datacentre projects.
* A successful candidate will have experience in permitting large infrastructure process in EMEA jurisdictions and familiarity with EU environmental review processes.
* Provide strategic advice on planning, zoning, and environmental permitting
* Draft and negotiate development agreements
* Advocate changes to streamline permitting
* Managing external counsel
* Contribute to templates, playbooks, and process improvements
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
* Substantive Law Experience:5–8+ years PQE with experience in real estate, planning, and environmental law, ideally with large infrastructure projects.
* Law firm, government, or in-house experience acceptable.
Jurisdictions
* Must be licensed as an attorney to practice in the UK or a EU member state.
