As the school continues to evolve and strengthen its provision for students with special educational needs, it is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join the team from September 2025. About the Role You will work closely with students who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), offering tailored 1:1 or small group support within the classroom. Needs may include: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Dyslexia or other specific learning difficulties Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs Behavioural challenges Your role will involve helping students access the curriculum, follow the class teacher’s guidance, and overcome barriers to learning in a supportive and structured environment. What We’re Looking For You don’t need previous school-based experience—but we are looking for people who are: Passionate about supporting young people Patient, resilient, and empathetic Strong communicators with good literacy and numeracy Willing to work flexibly within a team Experience in education, care, coaching, or working with children with SEN (whether professional or personal) will be highly valued.
