* Bookkeeping, bank statements, ledger reconciliations
* Assisting in the initial preparation of tax returns, VAT & management accounts
* General financial administration on behalf of the clients
* Development of processes and procedures to accommodate business changes
* Introduction of cloud tools
* Learning new software as it becomes available
* Working as part of the bookkeeping & management team
* Visits to client’s offices
The ideal candidate:
* The desire to always produce work of the highest quality on a timely basis
* Knowledge of VAT, Self-Assessment and Corporate Tax
* Knowledge/experience of cloud tools (e.g. Receipt Bank)
* Strong communication and team working skills
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
* Have the confidence to speak to clients face to face
* Flexibility regarding working location
* Professional competence
* A working knowledge of Xero would be an advantage
