Role Overview
We’re looking to hire committed and compassionate staff to join our friendly, professional team at Brownrigg, a registered care home with 6 beds. Our homes are small to provide a personal, person‑centred approach for each person we support.
Responsibilities
* Support adults with mental ill‑health conditions and learning disabilities in a care home environment.
* Assist with daily living skill development and personal care.
* Organise and participate in community‑based activities.
* Manage challenging behaviours.
* Ensure 24/7 care, including weekend availability.
Qualifications & Experience
* Full UK driving licence; driving is required.
* NVQ Level 2 (or willingness to obtain during training).
* Experience in care is welcome but not essential; full training and NVQ awarded on successful completion of probation.
* Commitment to providing compassionate, person‑centred care.
Working Conditions
* Contract: 37.5 hours per week.
* Weekend work required – shared equitably, giving the team some free weekend time.
* No sponsorship – must be resident in the UK and eligible to work without restriction.
