GS Yuasa is the world’s leading battery manufacturer, powering automotive, industrial, and energy solutions across the globe. We’re now looking for an enthusiastic Mobile Technical Trainer & Product Support Specialist to help educate, inspire, and support our customers across the UK and Ireland.
This is a remote-based role, giving you the freedom to work from home while travelling nationwide to deliver hands‑on training and technical expertise in a custom designed GS Yuasa training vehicle.
The Opportunity
This is a brand-new role created to strengthen our customer training and product support capability across the UK. You’ll work closely with our Marketing & Training team, acting as the face of GS Yuasa in the field — delivering engaging training, supporting product launches, and helping customers get the very best from our market‑leading battery solutions.
Using a dedicated company training vehicle, you’ll deliver expert, practical training directly at customer sites, branches, and events, helping to raise product knowledge, confidence, and sales performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver engaging, professional technical training across the UK customer network
* Act as a trusted product expert on automotive batteries and vehicle electrical systems
* Support new product launches, sales promotions, and customer demonstrations
* Work closely with sales and marketing teams to grow product awareness and adoption
* Build strong, long‑term relationships with customers through expert support
* Represent GS Yuasa as a technical ambassador in the field
Training on industrial battery applications will be provided where required.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience within the automotive industry
* Excellent knowledge of batteries and vehicle electrical systems
* Confident communicator with the ability to train, present, and engage audiences
* Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
* Industrial battery knowledge is a bonus — but not essential
