We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and analytically minded Assistant Finance Business Partner to support the financial review and analysis of the business, with a focus on management accounts support for our Personal Injury legal teams.
Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, you'll provide insightful analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance and drive efficiencies across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone currently studying towards an accounting qualification, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
The position would suit someone studying towards an AAT qualification or looking to start their journey in accountancy.

Main Responsibilities:
* Support the Finance Business Partner in providing analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance for Legal Teams.
* Assist in managing ongoing finance projects, supporting Legal Directors, and monitoring financial performance.
* Prepare management accounts, review monthly spend, identify savings, and support budget setting.
* Handle ad-hoc financial requests across the business.
* Analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making.
* Assist with annual budget forecasts.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Studying towards an accounting qualification.
* Management accounting experience.
* Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, pivot tables).
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Excellent stakeholder relationship skills.
* Ability to work at pace and independently or as part of a team.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Experience in the Legal sector.
* Use of case management systems.
* Commercial experience.
