Job Description
This Manufacturing Engineer will be:
1. Supporting machining processes and shop equipment
2. Developing and improving manufacturing processes and tooling
3. Creating and maintaining mechanical drawings and work instructions
4. Implementing engineering change orders
5. Collaborating directly with technicians and assemblers on the floor
6. Training personnel on new or updated processes
7. Designing fixtures and work cell layouts in a lean environment
8. Recommending equipment, tooling, and materials
9. Supporting capital equipment justification and implementation
10. Reviewing and dispositioning non-conforming material

The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Engineer will have:
11. Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
12. Background in manufacturing or mechanical engineering
13. Ability to support low-volume, high-configuration production
14. Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis
15. Working knowledge of CAD and mechanical drawings
16. Hands-on, collaborative approach with shop-floor teams
