First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic restaurant and public house business who are looking to recruit a Sous Chef on a permanent basis due to growth located in the heart of Cambridge.
Open all day for brunch, lunch and dinner, this fantastic and niche restaurant provides a unique setting for all sorts of occasions, from a quick coffee and brunch to a special dinner with friends. They take pride in serving fresh, locally-sourced food for all tastes, with a particular reputation for vegetarian & vegan offerings, albeit there’s plenty on the menu for meat & fish lovers too!
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Preparing high quality food for customers quickly and efficiently.
2. Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards.
3. Assisting Head Chef in running of kitchen.
4. Coaching and mentoring Chefs and KPs.
5. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
6. Following proper food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
7. Strong chef experience.
8. Enthusiastic.

Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 + uncapped tips
Working Hours: Various shift patterns
