The setting is known for its therapeutic approach, smaller class sizes, and strong focus on developing independence and life skills.The RoleAs a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basisAssist in delivering personalised learning tailored to individual needsHelp manage behaviour through structured, consistent, and calm approachesSupport pupils with Autism, SEMH, and communication needsWork closely with teaching staff and therapists to provide a joined-up approach to learningContribute to a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environmentThis SEND Teaching Assistant role requires consistency, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs.The School EnvironmentThe school supports pupils who may present with:Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)Communication and interaction difficultiesBehaviour that can be challenging at timesThe environment is highly structured and therapeutic, with a strong emphasis on routine, relationship-building, and emotional regulation.
