GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to work within welcoming and supportive primary schools in Scunthorpe.
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your strengths and preferences. You will create a dynamic and inclusive classroom where all pupils feel valued and encouraged to achieve their best.
Responsibilities of a Primary School Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum
* Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development
* Foster a positive classroom environment with effective behaviour management
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and senior leaders
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed
* Encourage creativity, curiosity, and independent thinking in learners
* Participate in school events, CPD, and continuous school improvement efforts
Primary Teacher Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Recent teaching experience within a UK primary school setting
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
