The Role: As Quantity Surveyor, you will: Provide comprehensive quantity surveying support to the project team. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, tender documents, and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers. Monitor project costs, track variations, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and manage payment schedules and claims. Ensure compliance with all relevant contractual obligations and industry standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site managers to ensure effective cost control and project delivery. Work closely with the commercial team to manage the commercial aspects of the contract. What We're Looking For: A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., BSc in Quantity Surveying, HND in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent). Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the highways sector, ideally with experience on major infrastructure projects. A strong understanding of highway construction techniques, regulations, and best practices. Excellent knowledge of relevant cost estimating software, measurement standards, and contract documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
