Position: Pupil Support Assistant - fixed term until 26/06/2025
Location: Craiglockhart Primary School
Salary: £24,909 - £25,116 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 15 per week, 39 weeks sessional

We seek conscientious, committed individuals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will work as part of a team, with many training opportunities to support your work with children and young people. Previous school experience is desirable.
Please note that these posts have a mobility clause, meaning successful candidates could be assigned to different schools in the future.

* Note: Please read the sessional working information attached to this advert. It explains salary calculations for sessional (term time) and part-time posts.
* PSAs do not work during the 12 weeks of school holidays, but total salary is paid in 12 monthly installments throughout the year. There are opportunities to work in holiday hub provisions during school holidays for those interested.
* This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. Candidates who have spent 3 or more months outside the UK in the last 5 years will require an Overseas Criminal Record Check.
* All pre-employment checks must be satisfactory before employment begins.
