About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the CFO with day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial tasks. Key Responsibilities:
* Accounts payable and receivable
* Process invoices, expense claims, and bank reconciliations
* Liaise with suppliers, external management accountants, payroll processors, members, and other departments as needed
* Lead and support ad hoc finance projects such as cost management and saving initiatives
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
* General administrative duties related to finance
Key Requirements:
* Prior experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
* Attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Problem-solver and self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
