In support of our continued growth, we are seeking a Financial Accountant for Nomios UK&I to lead financial administration processes.
Your role as Financial Accountant
You will process purchase invoices, expense declarations, bank statements and book sales invoices. You will also manage internal and external communication regarding these processes, working closely with the UK Business Operations Team.
This role will require strong leadership, hands-on operational expertise, and the ability to drive process improvements across multiple countries. You will have regular interactions with the Netherlands-based Head of Finance Administration in order to discuss and implement best-in-class processes and tooling improvements/upgrades.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Lead and optimise finance administration processes for Nomios UK&I.
* Manage purchase invoices, expense processing, and supplier master data accuracy.
* Ensure accuracy in accounting and reporting.
* Prepare payments
* Support month-end close procedures, bank reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.
* Optimise supplier payment terms relative to customer payment terms.
* Ensure compliance, security, and efficiency in purchase-to-pay processes.
* Collaborate with UK Business Operations.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives in finance administration (automation, systems, efficiency).

Requirements include:
* Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* Proven experience in finance administration.
* Strong understanding of accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial controls.
* Self-starter with hands-on expertise in purchase-to-pay cycle.
* Accurate and results oriented.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Job Specifics
* Location: This role is based at our Basingstoke office(free hot & cold drinks, breakfast items, snacks, lunches, and regular takeaway Fridays are provided to all staff in the office)
* Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
* Travel: The role includes travel within the UK, with some overnight stays, and occasional international trips when required
