Overview
Relief Catering Assistant role at Limra Networks. This post is fixed term until 31/03/2026. Hourly rate: £13.64. Vacancies have arisen for Catering Assistants in the Clydebank area. Location preference will be discussed at the interview.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the day-to-day operational requirements of the catering service within this premise as required.
* Work on own initiative or as part of a team.
* Assist in basic food preparation and service of all foods in compliance with the Nutritional Requirements for Food and Drinks in Schools (Scotland) Regulations 2008, and comply with relevant legislation.
* Set up and clear away equipment for food service; general cleaning to a high standard including crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, kitchen and dining room areas, staff rest room and toilets.
Qualifications
* Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or similar (essential).
Requirements
* This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of the scheme can be found here.
* Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
* The post holder will be required to adhere to Food Safety System, Safe Systems of Work and Health and Safety Legislation. Knowledge of these legislations would be advantageous and prior experience in this type of work is desirable.
