My client, an international supplier with an excellent reputation, is looking for a proactive, Sales Support Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on, fast-paced position supporting both the sales team and management. You'll be involved in everything from admin and supplier coordination to shipping logistics and occasional manual tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general administrative support across the team
* Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally
* Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and physical)
* Order parts and materials from multiple suppliers
* Assist with import/export shipping processes
* Support with manual tasks when required
* Use SAP ERP (training provided)
* Occasional local travel required
What We're Looking For:
* A background in an office support or administrative role
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
* Full, clean driving licence
Location: Office-based in Preston
Contract Type: Temporary with potential to become permanent
