We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties
* Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
* Support cooking staff by preparing meals according to recipes and presentation standards
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
* Help with serving meals during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to customers
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
* Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages
Qualifications
* Previous kitchen experience is preferred, particularly in a restaurant setting
* Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
