Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time event Housekeeper to join our busy team hosting international guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the existing team to ensure the bedrooms and public areas are kept clean and beds are ready for guests. This role requires a good attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
* Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
* Change linen and make beds for guest arrival.
* Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, including guest bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, and restrooms.
* Assist the laundry person folding and bringing to linen closet.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
Skills
* Previous housekeeping experience is highly desirable.
* Experience in a hotel environment is an advantage.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff.
* Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
* Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
