About the Role
We’re looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant with Team Teach training to support students with Autism, ADHD and SEMH at a leading special school in Oldham.
* Start: ASAP in September 2025
* Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:30am–3:30pm
* Contract: Long-term, with potential to go permanent
* Pay: £90–£110/day DOE (Paid PAYE only – no umbrella companies!)

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting students aged 11–16 with Autism, ADHD & SEMH
* Using Team Teach strategies to de-escalate and manage behaviour positively
* Helping create a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, families & external professionals
* Supporting emotional regulation, communication & independence
* Following safeguarding procedures and reporting concerns appropriately

What You’ll Need
* Team Teach certificate (in date)
* CV with 10-year work history
* Right to Work, ID & proof of address
* DBS on Update Service (or willing to apply)
* Professional references covering the last 2 years
* Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
* Experience working with SEN and challenging behaviour
* Positivity, resilience, empathy & a proactive attitude
