This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hospital Specialist or Key Account Manager with Cardiac Devices and Cardiac Catheter lab experience. The successful candidate will work within the sales team, responsible for growing a product in its early stages of adoption within the UK, aimed at preventing Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) infections.
In this field-based role, you will introduce and generate demand for this innovative device among stakeholders, mainly Cardiologists, physiologists, and Nurse Clinical Specialists in your target hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Achieve sales targets and objectives annually.
2. Establish a network of key opinion leaders (KOL) in collaboration with the UK NSM.
3. Develop strategic relationships with stakeholders in both public and private sectors.
4. Gain detailed knowledge of the Cardiology CIED market.
5. Understand customer needs at all levels to develop tailored solutions that enhance sales potential.
6. Create hospital-level business plans to identify stakeholders and drive sales through meetings and in-field visits.
7. Promote and sell products by influencing customer opinions across clinical and non-clinical channels.
8. Spend time in the Cardiac pacing catheter lab promoting and driving sales.
9. Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform business strategies.
10. Stay updated on therapy area information, participate in training, and maintain high knowledge standards.
11. Deliver training to clinicians and support clinical trials and product use.
12. Attend and present at internal company meetings.
13. Monitor clinical activity, including procedure volumes and theatre activities.
14. Keep abreast of NHS developments, anticipate impacts, and adapt strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or professional clinical qualification (Nurse or Cardiac Physiologist) – essential.
* Full UK driving licence without endorsements.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
* Local industry accreditation (MIA) or willingness to obtain it.
Person Specification
* Excellent knowledge of Cardiology CIED Catheter Lab environment.
* Experience selling into the Cardiac CIED environment (desirable).
* Proven sales record in the Cardiac CIED segment (desirable).
* Experience launching new products (desirable).
* Developing and managing KOLs (desirable).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Strong business acumen and account management skills.
* Responsible, independent, and target-driven.
* Organized with good time management.
* Knowledge of health economic tools.
* Effective communicator and team player.
* Creative problem-solver.
* Ability to influence at all levels.
* Detail-oriented and capable of prioritizing tasks.
