Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our rotation. The post holder will work in a dedicated OT team alongside a supportive MDT to deliver occupational therapy. Our rotations are 9 months in duration and currently cover Orthopaedics, Neurology/Stroke, Surgery, Acute Care Therapy Team (ACTT), Medicine and/or Frailty. The teams are committed to delivering high standards of care across the patient pathway.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver occupational therapy in an acute setting, managing a caseload in a busy environment.
* Apply time‑management and flexible scheduling to meet a 7‑day service, including weekend work.
* Communicate effectively with patients and families in stressful and complex situations.
* Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and commit to team working within OT and the wider MDT.
* Develop specialist clinical skills through regular supervision, staff appraisal and in‑service training.
