Overview
Trainee Recovery and Wellbeing Practitioner role at PostScript360. This is a permanent, part-time role based in Bristol (22 hours per week, with the opportunity to extend hours).
The Role
You will provide face-to-face and virtual therapy to adults with prescription drug dependence (e.g., benzodiazepines, Z-drugs, Gabapentinoids, opiates). You will deliver Therapy 300, conduct comprehensive assessments, create recovery plans and outcome profiles, and support clients to self-manage their recovery with healthy choices and positive changes. You will engage with people from diverse backgrounds and ages throughout the recovery process.
About You
As a Trainee Recovery and Wellbeing Practitioner, you should have:
* At least one year’s experience as a support worker, in mental health or with drug misusers
* Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
* Good written communication skills
* A can-do attitude and positive nature
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM
* Respect for diversity, culture, values and choices of clients and their wider networks
* Commitment to equal opportunities and challenging discriminatory practice
* A Level 3 diploma in Health & Social Care, Counselling or an equivalent qualification, or willingness to achieve such qualifications
* An appropriate health professional qualification (e.g., DANOS, HSC) or willingness to achieve this
Access to a car is preferred, but other transport options (bike, public transport) are acceptable. An enhanced DBS check is required due to the nature of the role.

* Salary of GBP 24,243 – 26,995 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
