Brief Description
In this role, you will establish safety arrangements and oversee the quality of work, leading a team involved in inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal activities.
Please note: There may be a requirement to work on call if you opt for the GTRM IMC25 contract.
About the role (External)
You will lead, organize, and motivate a high-performing team. Your hands-on approach will ensure work is completed efficiently and to high standards, with safety as a priority. You will establish safety protocols and ensure compliance among staff and contractors. You will monitor work quality and competence, ensuring assets and equipment are fit for purpose, and compile essential reports.
Requirements include:
* Experience in organizing and controlling safe, efficient work delivery
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, faulting, and renewal techniques
* Understanding of relevant standards, procedures, and instructions
* Strong leadership qualities with clear direction
* Possession or progression towards NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field, or relevant experience
* Willingness and ability to drive company vehicles as needed
This role involves working days, nights, and weekends. It is a safety-critical role requiring drug and alcohol testing and passing a medical assessment.
