Amazon is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Africa, Middle East, Turkey (AMET) Delivery Service Partner business. This role is based in Istanbul, Turkey, and offers a unique opportunity to own DSP account management and collaborate with internal teams to create, innovate, and transform our processes for launching new delivery programs across the region, creating opportunities for our DSPs. Some travel throughout the region will be required.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-end ownership of TR DSP recruitment and vetting.
2. Launch programs in partnership with internal stakeholders and report on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables.
3. Develop a keen understanding of Last Mile Delivery methods, working with the Partner Acquisition Business Development Team to bring programs to Delivery Service Partners across the region.
4. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand program needs, launch timelines, and challenges to develop processes and deliver against the team roadmap for launching Delivery Partners in AMET.
5. Build collaborative, influential relationships with Product, Program, Field teams, and other stakeholders to gather information, set action plans, and monitor execution to improve program delivery.
6. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders on core deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in developing program strategies, execution, and influencing senior stakeholders.
* 5+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
* 5+ years of experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
* Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps).
* Bachelor's degree.
* Fluent in Turkish (reading, writing, speaking).
* Experience in business development or sales roles with prior logistics negotiation experience.
* Experience building processes, managing projects, and schedules.
* Applied knowledge of CRM tools, e.g., Salesforce.
