Job Type: Fixed Term from 1st June to 30th September 40h per week
The Roseate Edinburgh is an intimate 5-star luxury Edinburgh hotel offering 35 exquisitely appointed rooms and suites. Ideally located on Haymarket, it lies nearby Murrayfield Stadium. We are now looking for a Lobby Ambassador ready to join a young and vibrant team and available to start immediately. The ideal candidate must be a very responsible individual, with great customer focus and possess the right attitude.
Main duties/responsibilities:
* Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
* Open and close doors for guests entering and leaving the establishment
* Assist with luggage and other items as needed
* Maintain a clean and tidy entrance area
* Monitor guests and visitors to ensure safety and security
* Provide information about the hotel and local area to guests
* Communicate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the hotel
* Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and respectful manner
* Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times
* Ensure that guests have a positive experience during their stay at the hotel
Entry Requirements:
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Attentiveness, a well-groomed appearance, initiative, loyalty, maturity, respect for confidentiality and discretion, a positive attitude and dependability.
* Enthusiastic in delivering service excellence.
* Possess the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
* Has an excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
* Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
