Your new role
This is a varied and engaging position where you'll act as a Business Partner to the Projects team, collaborating closely with senior financial leadership. You'll play a key role in monthly project reporting and oversee the financial operations across multiple initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering accurate and insightful month-end reporting to project stakeholders
* Ensure all reporting deadlines and requirements are met, including:
o Budget preparation aligned with cost allocations and mapping
o Compliance with internal control procedures
o Monthly, quarterly, and annual project reporting
+ Oversee day-to-day financial management of projects
+ Support risk and opportunity assessments through matrix analysis
+ Prepare and monitor project cashflows
+ Conduct variance analysis and cost tracking
+ Develop and maintain project forecasts
+ Manage internal and external audits related to project finances
What you'll need to succeed
* Part-qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent; or qualified by experience
* Advanced Excel proficiency
* Strong analytical and logical thinking
* Excellent planning and organisational abilities
