The Service and Team
Providing expert technical and administrative support across both teams, answering a variety of private sector housing and licensing compliance enquiries in line with legislation and guidance. Providing rota cover on a regular basis and monitoring mailboxes. Liaising with and advising the Contact Centre, who answer the majority of the private sector housing calls.
The Role
Should you be successfully appointed to this role, some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Dealing with a wide range of customers including landlords, members of the public, letting agents and MP/councillor enquiries via email or telephone.
* Handling a variety of emails from a wide range of customers and allocating them to the relevant teams.
* Processing HMO applications and monitoring outstanding payments and charges relating to notices served.
* Delivering technical support such as scanning, validation, taking payments and handling incoming and outgoing post.
* Maintaining filing systems and dealing with history enquiries and requests for discretionary services.
* Actively supporting colleagues.
* Being responsible for your own self-development to ensure role requirements are met.
* Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in date handling and reporting.
* Providing excellent customer service in line with the Corporate Customer Promise.
Working Pattern
The role requires a hybrid working arrangement, combining working from home with periods in the nearest office location. Flexibility is possible, but you will be expected to work within core business hours, Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm for the majority of the time.
