Responsibilities

* Lead and inspire a diverse team of electrical engineers, ensuring technical excellence and high performance.
* Drive the delivery of complex data centre projects, managing design, technical, and contract-related challenges.
* Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the Manchester office.
* Oversee financial performance, including profit, cash flow, and project delivery.
* Promote a culture of learning, innovation, and operational excellence across the team.
* Provide mentorship, appraisals, feedback, and professional development support to senior and mid-level engineers.
* Procure and negotiate significant contracts with clients and suppliers.
* Champion integrity, inclusion, and collaboration within the office and across projects.
Requirements
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional qualification.
* Recognised as an expert within the data centre sector, ideally with hands-on experience on large-scale, technically complex projects.
* Proven track record in leading successful, dynamic teams in multi-disciplinary environments.
* Strong technical capability and critical thinking in electrical engineering for mission-critical facilities.
* Experience in managing escalated project challenges and delivering practical, client-focused solutions.
