We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Fitter with a proven track record in delivering high-end finishes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full installation of kitchens to an exceptional standard, ensuring precision, durability, and an impeccable aesthetic finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install a wide range of kitchen units, appliances, and fittings according to technical drawings and client specifications.
* Ensure all installations meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, alignment, and finish.
* Work with various materials including wood, laminate, quartz, granite, and acrylic.
* Carry out minor plumbing, electrical, and tiling tasks associated with kitchen fitting (as qualified/required).
* Read and interpret architectural plans and manufacturer instructions with high accuracy.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
* Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently and efficiently on-site.
* Maintain tools and equipment in excellent working condition.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a kitchen fitter, preferably with high-end residential or commercial projects.
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to top-quality finishes.
* Strong joinery and carpentry skills.
* Ability to work from technical plans and adapt to bespoke kitchen designs.
* Own tools and reliable transport (if self-employed or mobile).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
* Good communication and time-management skills.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry, joinery, or construction (preferred).
* CSCS card or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
Desirable;
* Experience fitting bespoke or custom kitchens.
* Basic plumbing/electrical certification.
* Familiarity with high-end appliance brands (e.g., Miele, NEFF, Siemens, Sub-Zero).
