Job Description: Summary
This position andits responsibilities are a unique combination requiring businessanalysis data analysis and project management with a critical focuson supporting the implementation of a SaaS software solution forProject Portfolio Management (PPM) Platform for the ProjectManagement Office (PMO). All facets below require heavycollaboration and communication skills to both external andinternal cross function partners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
BusinessAnalysis:
Solution Assessment and Validation: Coordinateand perform tests including enduser review and signoff. Supporttesting of system for upgrades and implementation of new systemupgrades and interfaces with other systems and locations. Partnerclosely with Global IT Architect to ensure compliance within GlobalIT policies and procedures. Collaborate with developers businessstakeholders and Quality on bug reporting/resolution and to createtest scenarios. Support data mapping between business concepts andtechnical constructs.
Administrative Responsibilities:Administer and maintain security configuration roles permissionsand domains. Become a subject matter expert for the PPM Platform.Assist with prototyping demos and soliciting enduser feedback.Ability to work with Project Managers and future users to providecomprehensive training documentation and knowledge transferincluding onboarding of each phase of new users.
Collaboration and Relationship Management: Provide solution supportand maintain vendor relationship including partnering with vendoron support maintenance patches enhancements and upgrades. Partnerwith Global IT and vendor during releases to ensure a seamlessexperience for the members of the Project ManagementOffice.
Data Analysis:
DataManagement and Preparation: Identify evaluate cleanse and organizedisparate data sources. Identify data sources from availableintegrations and ensure that the data is prepared and structuredwithin the PPM Platform for analysis.
Data Analysis:Administer and maintain models dashboards and reporting tools fordistribution of analysis. Support and automate the ongoing analysisof trends and key performance metrics relating to project costschedule and resource management.
Report Development:Create custom reports or work with the PPM vendor in the creationof such reports. Analyze and synthesize data into business reportsthat will be distributed to various levels of stakeholders fromproject teams to business leaders.
ProjectManagement:
Curiosity: Develop a deep understanding ofthe Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) New Product Development (NPD)Product Development Process (PDP). With that knowledge understandhow the Project Managers do their work on NPD programs and theirreporting needs.
Partnership: Work with the members ofthe Project Management Office for a smooth transition fromMicrosoft Project into SaaS PPM Platform. Work with the NPD ProjectManagers to discover opportunities to make their work moreefficient through indepth knowledge of the PPM Platform and how totranslate their reporting needs into datadriven dashboards inpreparation for the PPM Platform rollout.
TechnicalExpertise: Create training SOPs Quick Guides for navigation withinthe PPM Platform. Identify gaps over time and proposesolutions.
PreferredQualifications:
1 year with Clarity PPMexperience
2 4 years working experience with abackground in Computer Science or Data Analytics
Experience with data visualization/modeling related tools such as:Power BI Tableau QlikView
Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills and interpersonal relationship skills withability to speak to varying job roles across theorganization
Excellent problemsolving and organizationalskills; strict attention to detail
Works autonomouslywithin established procedures and practices
Must be ableto work in a team environment including internal cross functionalteams and external contacts that may be at high levels undergeneral supervision
Ability to manage multiple projectsin a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
Proven abilityto build consensus and work effectively within a crossdepartmentalteam
Additional Expectations:
Knowledge of database data warehousing or data sciences
Experience in documenting data flows business processes power pointpresentations
Knowledge and understanding with BIreporting data mining or multidata center applications
Analytical approach to problemsolving; ability to use technology tosolve business problems
